Halo
Shell commands
Run shell commands directly with $, and how Halo handles requests it cannot read.
Run a command directly
Start a line with $ to run it as a shell command, without the Halo service:
◯ $ ls -la
◯ $ git log --oneline -5Direct commands go through the same local safety checks as everything else: dangerous commands ask, the deny list applies, and commands run sandboxed.
When Halo cannot read a request
If Halo does not understand a line that could itself be a command, it offers to run it as one. It never assumes.
