Halo
Halo
Fast natural-language computer control. Ask for everyday computer tasks in plain English and Halo runs them on your machine.
Halo turns plain-English requests for common computer tasks into clear steps and runs them on your own machine. It is built for speed: compact, purpose-built models read a supported request in one pass, and the work happens locally.

What makes Halo different
- Fast. Halo opens its connection while you type, so pressing Enter sends over a line that is already open, and the request is read in one pass rather than generated word by word.
- Inspectable. Every request becomes explicit steps you can read before anything runs.
- Local. Files, processes, Git and the rest are handled on your computer, and results stay there.
- Safe by construction. Anything that changes your machine shows a preview and waits for your yes. The service only proposes; your machine decides.
- Honest about its limits. When a request is unclear Halo asks; when it is out of scope Halo says so instead of guessing.
