Changing a site
Ask for changes, talk through ideas first, or edit text right in the preview.
Ask for a change
Open the site and type what you want in the box under the conversation, in Build mode:
Add a contact section with our phone number and a map link.
Make the hero image take the full width on mobile.
Switch the color scheme to warm browns and cream. Each request runs a build. While it runs you can watch its progress, and the preview updates when it finishes. Everything stays in the preview until you publish.
Talk it through first
Switch the box to Plan to discuss the site without changing it: ask what a page should contain, compare layouts, or get a list of improvements. When you know what you want, switch back to Build and ask for it.
Edit text directly
For small wording changes you don't need a build prompt. Click Edit text above the preview, click any text on the page, and type. Save, and memcode applies exactly those edits and rebuilds the preview.
Choose the model
Each site remembers which model builds it. Pick a different one from the model menu next to the box. If you've added your own provider keys, a model your key covers builds on your key.
See what changed
Build activity lists every build with what was asked, what memcode changed, and anything it assumed or warned about. Code shows the site's source files.
From the command line
memcode websites build crumb --prompt "add a contact section with our phone number"
memcode websites builds crumb # build history
memcode websites update crumb --model sonnet
